Who’s YOTI.
After 7 years onboard Yachts across the world, working long days, constant travel, salt & heat exposure, fatigue and inconsistent routines — I became obsessed with one question.
What is Hydration? And what does the body functionally need to stay hydrated?
Most products are built for- Athletes chasing performance. Fitness trends with added stimulants and stacked ingredients trying to do to much and end up doing Hydration poorly.
But life onboard doesn’t need more stimulation. It needs Consistency, Balance, and Reliability.
I wanted a hydration product that: Could be used daily, even multiple times a day. Didn’t overload the gut. Didn’t spike energy and crash. Focused purely on Hydration (Ionic Balance).
That idea became YOTIONICS.
A clean, intentional Hydration focused system designed for demanding operational use.

As a fellow YOTI I’ve spent the last 7 years working full-time in the yachting industry. Living and working onboard, I’ve experienced first-hand the physical demands of long days, heat exposure, travel fatigue, and the constant challenge of staying properly Hydrated in changing environments.
That experience is what led me to build YOTIONICS.
- Who I Am & Why I’m Building This
YOTIONICS is not a generic hydration product — it’s something I’m building from the ground up, specifically for crew and vessels demand in mind.
After years of trialing different hydration mixes across different countries, climates and seasons, I became focused on one simple question:
What does the body actually need to stay properly hydrated — without unnecessary additives?
- The Product Philosophy
YOTIONICS is based on a clean, essential electrolyte formulation:
- Sodium, Potassium, and Magnesium in purposeful ratios.
- No sugar.
- No unnecessary performance or vitamin additives.
- Purely focused on Hydration.
The goal is true Hydration, designed for operational, day-to-day use onboard — not a sports or wellness drink.
This formulation is being developed carefully and intentionally, with Crew use as the priority.
- Solving a Real Onboard Problem: Logistics
One of the biggest issues crew and vessels face during a season is constantly changing locations and shipping addresses.
To solve this, YOTIONICS is being built with a subscription-based logistics system that adapts to how yachts actually operate.
Subscribers will be able to:
- Choose Monthly, Quarterly or Annual subscription options.
- Update their shipping address per trip or destination.
- Receive reminder emails prompting address updates before each shipment.
This removes the stress of re-ordering, re-addressing, and last-minute provisioning.
- Vessel-Specific Subscription Planning
I’m also building a vessel-specific ordering system.
- Number of Crew onboard.
- Daily consumption rate.
- Desired stock duration. (1, 3, 6 months)
We at YOTI will calculate the correct quantity on behalf of the vessel, and offer a suitable package that ensures adequate stock for the chosen time period.
This takes the guesswork out of provisioning and prevents over- or under-ordering.
- Market Testing & Feasibility
At this stage, what I’m aiming to accomplish is market testing.
I’m working with a small, closely selected group of yachts to:
- Gather real-world feedback on the formulation and flavours.
- Understand interest levels from vessels and crew.
- See whether a product like this would realistically be adopted as a crew provisioning add-on.
- Test whether a flexible subscription and address-update system is feasible in real operational conditions.
This feedback will directly shape how YOTIONICS is brought to market.
- Trial Packs & Feedback (Before Launch)
Before full production and launch, I’d like to invite vessels and crews to be part of the early build phase.

- Multiple flavours for sampling.
